What is the story about?

The Buffalo Bills are on the list of team that have expressed interest in adding former Pro Bowl and Super Bowl champion defender Vita Vea.

Vea is in the midst of a hold-in as he looks for a new contract from his current team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs beat the New York Jets in their preseason opener on Friday and Vea sat out because of that.

If that does not happen for Vea, there is a belief he could be traded away from Tampa and reportedly the Bills have expressed interest.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane has checked in on Vea's availability:
