The Buffalo Bills are expected to rely on rookie cornerback Davison Igbinosun against the New England Patriots in Week 4.
Top cornerback for Buffalo's defense, Christian Benford, was spotted in a walking boot following the Bills' win over the Chargers last week. Since then, he has not practiced at all this week leading most to believe the second-round rookie
will start in his place and Igbinosun is confident.Igbinosun has plenty of reason to be, as his play has been positive since heading to Buffalo. But the rookie noted all the help from "CB" adds to it.
Igbinosun said this week since Day 1, Benford has been someone he could rely on for help in the pro game.
"I like to pick his brain and get his thought process," Igbinosun said.
Igbinosun replaced
Benford in Buffalo's lineup against the Chargers last week when he went down. The Chargers immediately targeted him and Igbinosun broke up the play.
Like Igbinosun himself, head coach Joe Brady is showed confidence in Igbinosun potentially starting across from Max Hairston on Sunday.
"I thought they did a really good job in the communication," Brady said via video conference. "Took advantage of this past week and really looking forward for them to continue to progress."

"I lean on CB a lot; CB sees the game as a veteran."
