The Buffalo Bills had no problem outscoring their opponents in the fourth quarter and overtime last season.
According to NFL.com, the Bills finished last season with the third-highest point differential in the fourth quarter or overtime of games with a +50 advantage over their opponents.
The Houston Texans (+78), and Denver Broncos (+65) were the only two teams to outscore their opponents in the fourth quarter or overtime of games by a wider margin than the Bills.
Buffalo set that tone early for their fourth quarters in 2026. Out of the gate, the Bills beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1. In a 41-40 comeback win, the Buffalo outscored Baltimore 22-6 in the final stanza en route to the victory.
Ironically enough, even though the Bills did much more
winning than losing last season, the Texans and Broncos are two of the only teams that ended up beating Buffalo.
Rounding out top-five for point differential in the fourth during the 2026 NFL season were the New Orleans Saints (+42) and a fifth-place tie between the Chicago Bears and New York Jets (+30).
