Highmark Stadium was already damaged after the team's home opener against the Detroit Lions in Week 2.

And the building has shot back at critics... or at least cleared the air.

After the first game at the venue, a 41-31 win

for the Bills (2-0), a photo surfaced on social media which had nothing to do with the infamous sight lines from seats inside the stadium. Rather, it was of the Bills logo on the outside.

It appears broken:

Highmark Stadium's official social media page evidently saw the message and explained the situation.

The sign is not broken. It is just undergoing some work:

We did some scheduled maintenance to the electrical behind the sign on the east side of Highmark Stadium. Heads up, we’ll be doing the same to the west
