What is the story about?

The New York Giants (2-1) will continue their regular season slate against the Arizona Cardinals (1-2) on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

For the Giants, it will be their second game without quarterback Jaxson Dart and their first without linebacker Brian Burns. That immediately puts them behind the eight ball, but head coach John Harbaugh is confident they can wade the rough waters.

The good news is that left tackle Andrew Thomas returned to practice on Friday and is "trending in the right direction," according to Harbaugh.

Center John Michael Schmitz was absent during the final session due to a personal matter. He is expected to play on Sunday.
