New York Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers has plenty to prove going into his third NFL campaign, but he needs to get on the field first.
Coming off a torn ACL during the Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers in 2025, the former No. 6 overall pick has been trending in the right direction to make his season debut with the rest of the team Sunday night.
Though it's more speculation rather than an actual report, ESPN's Dan Graziano echoed those sentiments Tuesday morning during a segment on "Get Up."
"Malik Nabers has been a very pleasant surprise for the Giants coaching staff since they got back to training camp," Graziano said. "They believe that he was further along in his recovery when they arrived to training camp than they had reason
to expect him to be. He's passed every test. He's been out there without a non-contact jersey. It sounds like he's going to be good to go for Sunday night."

The Giants parted ways with wide receiver Darius Slayton just before the start of the regular season. It was a peculiar move in the sense that the team must feel confident in Nabers' ability to get on the field for the season opener at MetLife Stadium.
The Giants will release their first injury report following Wednesday's practice so that should give us a better idea of Nabers' status going into the first official week of the regular season.
