New York Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers appears poised for a big performance in the team’s season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, provided he plays.
Nabers has excelled against the Cowboys in each of his last three meetings with the team. In his most recent matchup against Dallas, he recorded nine receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns. Before that, he posted eight receptions for 69 yards, and in the game prior, 12 receptions for 115 yards.

Prorated over 17 games, that equals 164 receptions for 1,989 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Nabers
has continued to make progress in his recovery and appears increasingly close to returning to game action. If he takes the field in Week 1, his explosiveness, route-running, and ability to create after the catch would immediately give the Giants’ offense a significant boost.
With quarterback Jaxson Dart looking to establish a connection with his top target, Nabers would likely see plenty of opportunities in the season opener. If fully healthy, he has the talent to produce a big game against Dallas.
