The New York Giants are bringing back four of their five starters from last season along the offensive line, but this year, the unit seems to have more depth, talent, and momentum.
That is because they have two talented young linemen: second-year swing tackle Marcus Mbow and rookie right guard Francis Mauigoa.
Both players are versatile, powerful, big, and nasty. Mbow has been doing it for a year. Although he's not a starter, the Giants know there will be no drop-off when he's in the game. Many observers believe he's actually an upgrade.

Mauigoa
has been steady since the Giants made him the 10th overall selection in this year's NFL draft. A tackle by trade, the Giants shifted him inside to guard to begin his NFL career. He's embraced the role and made it his. He does something every game, every practice, that impresses.
In Friday's preseason finale against the Jets, Sisi punches out to the second level to take out the linebacker, opening the way for a six-yard touchdown run by Tyrone Tracy, Jr. The fact that the linebacker was his brother, Kiko, mattered not.
