New York Giants safety Jevon Holland enters Week 3 with a chance to separate himself in the NFL interceptions race after recording a takeaway in each of the first two games.
Holland is tied for the league lead with two interceptions, matching Seattle Seahawks safety Julian Love, Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Hezekiah Masses, and Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd.

The four-way tie leaves Holland one strong performance from sole possession of the lead, depending on results elsewhere around the league.
Holland opened the season with an interception against the Dallas
Cowboys in Week 1 and added another against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. Those plays have marked a disruptive start even as the Giants dropped the Week 2 contest.
Beyond the interceptions, Holland has stayed active throughout New York’s defense. He has contributed against the run, covered from multiple alignments, and created extra turnover chances with physical play around the football.
A third consecutive game with an interception would give Holland a chance to move ahead of the pack for the league lead and further establish him as a playmaking difference-maker in the Giants’ secondary.
