The Baltimore Ravens worked out former New York Giants wide receivers Sterling Shepard and Dante Pettis this past Friday. Neither player was signed immediately after the session.
Shepard spent eight seasons with the Giants after the team selected him in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft. He recorded 372 receptions for 4,095 yards and 23 touchdowns in 90 games for New York before departing following the 2023 season. Shepard then played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024 and 2025.
Pettis arrived in New York via waivers from the San Francisco 49ers in November 2020. He appeared in five games across the 2020 and 2021 seasons, catching 14 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns. After his time with the Giants, Pettis played for the Chicago Bears
and New Orleans Saints.
Both veterans are free agents as the Ravens continue evaluating options at wide receiver.
