This week, on Monday Night Football, the New York Giants face the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. EDT.
In Week 1, the Rams suffered a devastating loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Australia. Their poor play was due, in part, to the travel arrangements made by the Rams, and this week they'll look to rebound from that loss and establish themselves back in the Super Bowl conversation. They'll have to do it without Myles Garrett, but it looks like they might get Aaron Donald on the field instead.
The Giants, meanwhile, surprised most of the league by defeating the Dallas Cowboys in their season opener. Big Blue looks like a different team under John Harbaugh, and it's clear that everyone is ready
to show the league exactly what they are capable of.
It wasn't easy to pick prop bets this week because the Rams didn't look like the Rams last week, and it's difficult to predict if they will actually rebound or not. Plus, the lines are skewed because of that poor showing. So, we stuck with the Giants this week because they are easier to predict.
That said, here are the three best prop bets from this Week 2 Monday Night Football matchup, courtesy of BetMGM.
Rushing yards: Cam Skattebo OVER 75 yards +290
Cam Skattebo was on fire against the Cowboys in Week 1, rushing for 81 yards and a touchdown. The Rams won't have Garrett, and even if Donald is on the field, he hasn't seen real game action in over two years. Last week, the Rams allowed 174 rushing yards. The way Skattebo and the Giants' offense played against Dallas, it's not unreasonable to believe that Skattebo will get the most touches and rack up yards again.
Passing yards: Jaxson Dart OVER 200 yards -190
Dart has received praise from every corner of the NFL this week. He threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns against the Cowboys, and while the Rams' defense isn't the same as the Cowboys', Dart will still find targets. He has multiple viable options on his side this season, which he proved last week by spreading the ball around. Look for a similar performance in Week 2, even with Donald on the field.
Receiving yards: Malik Nabers OVER 75 yards +125
Last week, Isaiah Likely was Dart's favorite target, but the Rams are going to be prepared for that. Nabers was cleared one day before the season opener and decided only a few hours before kickoff that he would actually be active. Because of his injury recovery, he didn't get as much time with Dart during the offseason, but you can believe they've gotten back on the same page this week. Nabers will be Dart's top target this week. Expect him to start looking like his pre-ACL injury form against the Rams.
