The New York Giants will travel down the New Jersey Turnpike on Sunday to face the Philadelphia Eagles in the first of two matchups between the division rivals this season.
The Giants (4-2-1) currently lead the NFC East, while the Eagles (2-6) sit at the bottom of the division. New York opened as three-point road favorites and remain that way ahead of Sunday’s matchup, per BetMGM.
Joe Milton will make his first start for the Eagles, replacing Tanner McKee under center. The Giants will have J.J. McCarthy at quarterback for the second consecutive game.
With the Giants scoring at a high rate over their last four games and the Eagles mired in a six-game losing streak while dealing with significant injuries, New York should have a strong chance to come
away with the win.
Here are three of the best prop bets for this Week 9 matchup.
Receiving Yards: WR Malik Nabers OVER 71.5 yards (-115)
Nabers recently earned NFC Offensive Player of the Month honors for October. He has been outstanding over his last four games, posting 100-plus yards in each of them. The Eagles' defense has struggled against the pass this season, ranking 25th in the league in opponent passing yards per game. Expect Nabers to deliver another strong performance on Sunday.
Total Points: New York Giants OVER 22.5 points (+105)
The Giants have scored at least 27 points in four straight games. The Eagles have had difficulty slowing opposing offenses this season and are dealing with multiple injuries. Philadelphia has allowed 24 points or more in five of its last six games. The Giants should continue their streak of scoring in the high 20s on Sunday.
Rushing Yards + Receiving Yards: Saquon Barkley OVER 74.5 yards (+105)
Saquon is averaging only 52.5 total yards per game, so some hesitation is understandable. However, he tends to perform well against his former team. With DeVonta Smith sidelined and Joe Milton starting at quarterback, the Eagles are likely to lean more on their running game and incorporate dump-off passes to their top back. Given those circumstances, Barkley has a solid chance to exceed this total.
