New York Giants rookie Francis Mauigoa continued an impressive start to his NFL career on Sunday, turning in another clean pass-protecting performance in the team’s 12-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Mauigoa played 27 snaps in pass protection and did not allow a sack, hurry, or pressure. The outing extended a productive stretch for the young lineman, who has started all three games for New York this season.

Over 96 pass-protection snaps in those starts, Mauigoa has allowed no sacks, no hurries, and only two pressures. He
posted his first clean sheet in the Giants’ 28-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1. His performance against Tennessee marked another step in establishing himself as a fixture in the lineup.
Mauigoa has shown composure against elite defensive tackles and edge rushers while protecting quarterbacks Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston, the latter of whom helped lead New York to the victory on Sunday. His ability to keep star defenders from disrupting plays has helped strengthen the offensive line. He has held former All-Pro Quinnen Williams in Week 1 and Aaron Donald in Week 2, as well as 2025 All-Pro Jeffery Simmons in Week 3, in check.
Mauigoa’s early work is an encouraging sign as he continues to gain experience. Maintaining that production will remain the challenge moving forward, but he is off to a start that already warrants consideration for Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year.
