It's been 40 years since the New York Giants won their first Super Bowl, and the franchise is celebrating the historic season with events throughout the season.
This Sunday afternoon, when the Giants host the Arizona Cardinals at MetLife Stadium, they will hold an on-field celebration honoring the 1986 NFL champion Giants. They will also give bobbleheads of All-Pro tight end Mark Bavaro to the first 25,000 fans in attendance.
The accolades and honors don't stop there, however. On Friday, three members of that team -- Hall of Fame linebacker Harry Carson, quarterback Phil Simms, and linebacker Carl Banks -- opened trading on the New York Stock Exchange by ringing the bell.

The Giants set a franchise record for regular-season wins (14), then cruised through the playoffs and into the Super Bowl, beating the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins by a combined score of 66-3.
In Super Bowl XXI in Pasadena, the Giants defeated the AFC Champion Denver Broncos, 39-20, to capture their first NFL title in 30 years.
