The New York Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys, 28-20, on Sunday night to open the John Harbaugh era, but they were penalized 10 times for 114 yards and left questioning more than one of those flags.
Cornerback Dru Phillips drew three defensive pass interference flags. A 19-yard call in the second quarter set up CeeDee Lamb's tying score. An 11-yard penalty later moved Dallas from the Giants' 26. But the most disputed call came with 1:28 left in the third, after a 15-yard catch put the Cowboys at the two-yard line.

Prescott's throw to Lamb fell incomplete, but officials still walked off a one-yard penalty on Phillips. Replays offered little support for the call.
Harbaugh, on the sideline, could be seen saying, "That's (expletive)."
Williams scored two plays later to make it 21-14.
Harbaugh was asked Monday about the corners and whether he agreed with the pass-interference calls.
"Well, just play-by-play, I mean, probably a couple of them were definitely justifiable and good calls. One or maybe two of them were a little bit more – very gray. So, you just look at each one and you try to make the coaching points that you can per play," Harbaugh said on Monday.
"I mean, you can't grab a guy. You can't restrict a player from making the catch. Just like an offensive player shouldn't be able to create separation by extending his arms and pushing off. So, you just try to coach it play-by-play."
That last point referenced Lamb's second-quarter touchdown, when he appeared to push off, and no offensive pass interference was called.
The Giants still closed out the win.
