The New York Giants are off to an impressive 3-1 start, and many players and members of the coaching staff have deservedly received praise, especially considering the Giants are without arguably their best player on each side of the ball.
One player quietly putting together one of the better starts to the season is right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor, whom the Giants retained this offseason on a team-friendly deal in free agency.

Eluemunor has been one of the better players at his position for a couple of years now and appears to be getting better with age. His strong start this season
is a microcosm of his tenure with the Giants, often not receiving the praise or respect his performance on the field deserves.
Eluemunor and Andrew Thomas form one of the best starting duos at offensive tackle in the NFL.
Eluemunor has become a fan favorite since signing with the Giants in 2024. He has often been vocal about how proud and happy he is to be a Giant. This past offseason, he hit free agency and ultimately re-signed with the Giants for a much lower number than most expected. Whether his market was slow or he took less to stay with Big Blue, the Giants should feel fortunate to have a player of his stature holding down the right tackle position.
Although his start to the season should come as no surprise, his impressive win rate likely flies under the radar because of the position he plays. Eluemunor is a big reason for the Giants' success in the running game and deserves significant credit for his consistent improvement since joining Big Blue.
