The Giants need an edge rusher after Pro Bowler Brian Burns was lost for the season on Sunday with a torn ACL in his right knee.
This is Ward's second stint with Big Blue. He played all 34 games in his first stint from 2022-2023. Ward made 20 starts and collected 8.0 sacks over that span.
The 32-year-old Ward has also played for six other NFL clubs in his 10-year NFL career, including two seasons in Baltimore
under head coach John Harbaugh and last season in Tennessee under defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson.
