The New York Giants (3-1-1) host the New Orleans Saints (1-4) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, this Sunday in Week 6 action.
The Giants remain 1-point underdogs at home as of this writing, marking the second time this season they've been an underdog at home to a team with a worse record. After last week's tie with the Washington Commanders, the Giants are out to prove they deserve more respect than they've been getting as the top team in the NFC East.
The Saints have struggled to find their footing this season, and it's only gotten harder with the loss of Travis Etienne. Their sole win came over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, but they have been unable to replicate what they did to get that win.
These two teams match up fairly
evenly this week, so let's take a look at the three best prop bets, courtesy of BetMGM.
Passing yards: QB Tyler Shough OVER 200 yards -400
Tyler Shough actually averages just over 259 passing yards per game. However, the Giants have a top-10 passing defense. Last week, Shough put up just 96 passing yards against the Minnesota Vikings, who have the 6th-ranked pass defense in the league. The Giants allow around 199 passing yards per game this season, and Shough is capable of breaking that mark.
Receiving and Rushing yards: RB Cam Skattebo OVER 75 yards +100
Cam Skattebo hasn't had the best start to the season, averaging just 3.6 yards per carry. The Giants need him to show up on Sunday and not only run the ball better, but also be an outlet for Jameis Winston. The Saints have a decent passing defense, but their run defense is atrocious and ranks 30th in the league. Skattebo and the Giants will take advantage of this, so even though Skatt averages under 60 yards per game on the ground, he's likely to gain more than that this week. Toss in a couple of passes, and he could potentially hit 100 yards for the second time this season (Tennessee).
Moneyline: New York Giants -108
There is no legitimate reason that the Giants are underdogs in this game. Similar to how they shouldn't have been underdogs at home against the Arizona Cardinals. This team took offense to that and came away with an eight-point victory in Week 4. Expect the same outcome against the Saints in Week 6.
