The New York Giants (2-1) host the Arizona Cardinals (1-2) this Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Here are six things to know before kickoff in Week 4.
The series
This Sunday marks the 130th meeting between the Giants and Cardinals, dating back to 1926, when the Cardinals were in Chicago.
The Giants lead the all-time series, 81-46-2. In their last regular-season meeting, the Giants topped the Cardinals, 31-28, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale in Week 2 of the 2023 season.
This week marks the 12th time the two teams have faced off since the Cardinals joined the NFC West in 2002, with Arizona holding a 7-4 advantage in the previous 11 matchups. The Cardinals are 5-2 in their last seven games against the Giants.
The visiting team
has won seven of the last eight matchups in the series. The Cardinals are currently riding a four-game road winning streak.
The Cardinals so far
The Cardinals began the season with a 26-14 road victory over the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.
In Week 2, they were blown out at home by the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, 31-7.
Last week, the Cards were outscored, 36-30, by the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium.
The Giants so far
Big Blue opened up the season with a bang, outpacing division rival Dallas, 28-20, at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Night Football.
Week 2 was a disastrous loss to the Rams in Los Angeles, 28-6, on Monday night that saw them lose quarterback Jaxson Dart for the season.
Last week, they held on to beat the Tennessee Titans, 12-7, in the rain at MetLife Stadium.
Home away from home
This Sunday, the Cardinals can earn their fifth consecutive win at MetLife Stadium and would improve to 5-1 all-time at the venue since it opened in 2010.
Arizona would also raise their record to 4-0 against the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
In addition, the Cardinals would earn their fifth-consecutive road win over the Giants dating back to 2009.
Trey McBride, superstar
The Cardinals selected tight end Trey McBride in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft (55th overall). After a slow rookie season, McBride's career has kicked into high gear. He has been named to the Pro Bowl the past two seasons.
McBride set an NFL single-season record for receptions by a tight end with 126 in 2025, and has continued that pace into 2026. Through the first three weeks, McBride leads all NFL tight ends -- and ranks third among all NFL players -- with 26 catches, one behind New Orleans wide receiver Chris Olave and Jaxon Smith-Njigba of Seattle.
Arvell Beast
Through three starts in his NFL career, rookie linebacker Arvell Reese, the fifth player selected in this year's NFL draft by the Giants, has registered a team-leading 24 tackles (17 solo), two tackles for loss, one pass defensed and one quarterback hit, and one special teams tackle.
Per the Giants, Reese is the first player since Fred Warner and Shaquille Leonard to have at least 17 solo tackles, two tackles for loss and one pass defensed in his first three career games. Reese has been a steady tackler in his young career, racking up 24 tackles without any misses.
He is one of six players and the only rookie in the NFL this season to register 20 or more tackle attempts and have a 100% tackle efficiency rate, according to Next Gen Stats.
