Malachi Fields scored his first career touchdown Sunday, hauling in a 12-yard pass from Jameis Winston to pull the New York Giants within two of the Arizona Cardinals at MetLife Stadium.
The score came with 4:30 left in the second quarter. Facing third-and-4 from the Arizona 12, Winston delivered a short throw to the right side of the end zone, where the rookie wide receiver secured the catch.

The seven-play, 56-yard drive took 3:57 and cut Arizona's lead to 14-12. New York's two-point try failed when Winston's pass to Chris Manhertz fell incomplete.
It was a needed trip to the end zone. The Giants had scored 18 points across their previous two games without
a touchdown, and Winston's throw was his first passing score of the season.
Fields, the 6-foot-4 third-round pick out of Notre Dame, entered Week 4 with six receptions for 74 yards and no touchdowns through three games.
The connection gave New York its first offensive touchdown in more than seven quarters and trimmed a deficit that had stood at 14-6 after two Dominic Zvada field goals. Arizona had built its lead on a Marvin Harrison Jr. touchdown catch and a Tyler Allgeier rushing score in the first quarter.
The Giants have since scored another touchdown to claim the lead.
