The New York Giants closed John Harbaugh's first preseason as head coach with a 2-1 record, finishing with a 23-6 win over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Friday night.
After a 13-10 home loss to the Minnesota Vikings to open the exhibition slate, New York answered with back-to-back convincing victories, including a 26-3 road rout of the Miami Dolphins.
Projected starters generally played limited snaps or sat out entirely as the staff evaluated depth and roster competition. The three-game stretch offered an early look at Harbaugh’s program following a summer that included work in West Virginia and a joint practice in Miami.
With Sunday’s deadline to trim the roster to 53 players and a Sunday Night Football opener against the Dallas Cowboys
two weeks away, Pro Football Focus grades offer one snapshot of who performed best. Using a 20-snap minimum, here are the Giants’ highest-graded players from the 2026 preseason.
