The Giants worked out offensive lineman Dodji Dahoue on Monday, bringing the 6-foot-9 tackle back to the building months after he attended their rookie minicamp.
Dahoue was not immediately signed. He remains an International Player Pathway option, a designation that would let New York add him to the practice squad without using one of the standard spots. The exemption is available because Dahoue, born in France and raised in Bamako, Mali, qualifies under the league’s international program.
New York invited him to rookie minicamp in May after he went undrafted out of Eastern Michigan. He was still recovering from a torn ACL that ended his 2025 season after five starts, and he did not take part in on-field work. The Giants did not sign him then,
with the knee recovery the holdup, but left open the chance to revisit him once he was healthy.
Listed at 306 pounds, Dahoue did not play football until college. He started at Santa Rosa Junior College before transferring to Eastern Michigan, where he appeared in six games as a reserve in 2024 and earned a starting job at tackle the following year.
The size is rare. At 21, he is still early in his development, which is the practical appeal of an IPP practice-squad spot: Time to finish his rehab and learn an NFL scheme without an immediate roster commitment.
Houston and Miami have also worked him out since the spring. Monday’s visit suggests the Giants have not closed the file.
