Former New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings has offered an optimistic outlook on Odell Beckham Jr.’s potential production this season.
Jennings, who shared a locker room with Beckham during the wide receiver’s first stint in New York, posted a straightforward prediction over the weekend.
Obj will have 1k receiving

The declaration stands out given Beckham’s current circumstances. After missing the entire 2025 season and serving a suspension related to a performance-enhancing drug violation, the 33-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Giants in June and has spent the summer competing for a roster spot.
There is no guarantee Beckham even makes the initial 53-man roster, let alone secures a role capable of producing 1,000 receiving yards.
Still, those around the team have noted that Beckham’s route running this summer has been very impressive. Despite the long layoff, he has shown the ability to create separation and get open against both practice and preseason defenses.
Whether that translates into consistent targets remains to be seen. Beckham is currently working behind a crowded group of receivers and will need strong performances in the final preseason game to strengthen his case.
Jennings’ prediction is bold, but it reflects belief that the veteran still has something left to offer if given the opportunity.
