The New York Giants submitted their initial 53-man roster to the league office on Sunday night, and there were few surprises.
25 of the players who made the roster were not with the club a year ago, including all seven of the team's picks in this year's NFL draft. That group also included two 2026 undrafted free agents: Kicker Dominic Zvada and long snapper Ben Mann.
Zvada, a strong-legged, record-setting kicker out of Michigan, won a heated roster battle with incumbent Ben Sauls, who was waived/injured on Sunday.
Mann, a product of Boston College, basically won the job in the spring and has been the only long snapper on the Giants' roster throughout camp.
The Giants waived several other UDFAs on Sunday. Fullback Grant Finlay, offensive linemen
Ryan Schernecke and Jarrod Gray, and defensive linemen Ben Barten and Anquin Barnes Jr. did not make the final cut.
