The New York Giants earned their third win of the season against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4, but it wasn't an easy victory. The Cardinals look like a completely different team without Kyler Murray, and it's somewhat refreshing to see some of the NFL teams turning things around after years of struggling.
The Giants are no strangers to struggling. Over the last decade, they've had a whopping two seasons with a winning record, and under new head coach John Harbaugh, 2026 is starting off right. They are 3-1 after defeating the Cardinals at home, but before the game started, not many people thought they'd come away with a win.
In fact, the Las Vegas oddsmakers had the Giants as underdogs at home heading into this game, against a Cardinals team
that was 1-2 before Week 4.
Giants running back Cam Skattebo took issue with being underdogs at home and wasn't shy about sharing his opinion.
Cam Skattebo says it's "dumb" that the Giants were underdogs at home against the Cardinals:

“It’s dumb to be underdogs at home,” Skattebo said. “Especially when you are a good football team. When people want to bet against you at your own place and you’ve got a team coming from a 6-hour flight on a time change, it’s a pretty difficult feeling as a team when you feel like you are put underneath them. So we came out here and handled business.”
Skattebo isn't wrong; the Cardinals haven't really proved anything so far this season. Watching them on the field, they are definitely a better team than they have been for a long time. However, they were on the road, had only won one game, and despite what all the numbers say, had no business being favored at MetLife Stadium.
It's clear that Skattebo wasn't the only one who took issue with being underdogs on Sunday. It was a slow start for Big Blue, but once they got going, the Cardinals couldn't keep up. For his part, Skattebo recorded 58 yards on 18 carries and added a reception for eight yards. Jameis Winston and Malik Nabers got on the same page, too, connecting six times for 112 yards and a touchdown.
Three different Giants' receivers scored touchdowns, and three different Giants' defenders recorded interceptions that changed the momentum of the game.
Next week, the Giants have their second divisional matchup of the season when they head down the coast to face the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
