The New York Giants will wear their 1980s-style Legacy Blue uniforms on Sunday when they host the Arizona Cardinals at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Week 4 game, set for 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS, is the first of two Legacy Games presented by Quest this season. New York will use the same look again December 6 against the San Francisco 49ers.

The franchise wore the design from 1980 through 1999 and restored it as an alternate in 2022. The set starts with a navy helmet, white facemask, a single scarlet stripe, and raised GIANTS lettering on each side. Red-and-blue trim runs across the jersey and pants, and the collar still carries Wellington Mara’s words: Once a Giant, Always a Giant.
MetLife Stadium will get a matching overlay. The old helmet mark will sit at midfield, and the end zones will be painted in period-style block GIANTS lettering.
Sunday’s date also marks the 40th anniversary of the 1986 team that won Super Bowl XXI. The Giants will honor that championship group with a special halftime ceremony presented by Starter. The first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a Mark Bavaro bobblehead, courtesy of Quest.
The club released its full 2026 uniform schedule on September 2, pairing the two Legacy dates with Vintage White games in Weeks 9 and 10.
