The New York Giants (3-1-1) will continue their regular season slate against the New Orleans Saints (1-4) on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
They will do so as a limping team dealing with an ongoing wave of injuries that began with the loss of quarterback Jaxson Dart in Week 2. They now have two starting tackles ailing, an injured starting safety, and a limping edge rusher, which comes on the heels of Brian Burns suffering a season-ending torn ACL in Week 3.
The good news? Tackles Andrew Thomas and Jermaine Eluemunor, and edge rusher Abdul Carter returned to practice on Friday. All three have a chance to play on Sunday, while safety Jason Pinnock has cleared concussion protocol.
"He looked fine," head coach John
Harbaugh said of Carter.
