Odell Beckham Jr. has earned a place on the New York Giants’ 53-man roster, completing a reunion that began when the former first-round pick signed in June after sitting out the 2025 season.

The 33-year-old wide receiver closed training camp at the right time. Head coach John Harbaugh called last week Beckham’s best of the summer, and that carried into Friday’s preseason finale against the New York Jets, where Beckham caught three passes for 53 yards in a 23-6 win.

afterward that Beckham had done enough to make an NFL roster.
Calvin Austin’s season-ending torn ACL earlier in the week opened a path in a crowded receiver room. Behind Malik Nabers, Darnell Mooney and rookie Malachi Fields, Beckham secured one of the final wide receiver spots. Assistant general manager Brandon Brown said sports-science data showed Beckham still has juice, and that younger receivers have treated him as a sponge for route work and preparation.
Beckham has also been a presence off the field, including showing support for Austin after surgery. For the three-time Pro Bowler who never wanted to leave in 2019, the roster spot is personal.
“It would mean everything. It would be my dream,” Beckham said. “This is where I started. There’s no place I want to give my whole heart to, more than any place in the world, than this place right here.”
