The New York Giants, like all major sports teams around the globe these days, are skyrocketing in value.
In the latest NFL team valuations from Forbes, Big Blue was ranked third out of 32 teams with a valuation of $12.1 billion. That is up 19 percent from last year's valuation of $10.1 billion, and nearly double their value ($6.25 billion) from just two years ago.
The Dallas Cowboys remain the NFL's jewel in the crown with a valuation of $17 billion, followed by the Los Angeles Rams at $13.5 billion and the Giants. The Cincinnati Bengals are the lowest-valued property at a whopping $8 billion.
From Forbes:
There are eye-popping numbers up and down the NFL’s 2026 ranking, however. The Cincinnati Bengals—No. 32 for the fifth straight year—are now
worth an estimated $8 billion, a figure that would have tied for the league lead in 2022. The average team value, meanwhile, stands at $9.5 billion, up 34% from 2025’s $7.1 billion—the NFL’s second-largest jump in percentage terms since Forbes began publishing its franchise valuations in 1998, behind only 2015’s 38% increase. The league average has also more than doubled since 2022, when it was $4.5 billion, and more than quadrupled from a decade ago.
These are naturally all estimates. The Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, who were valued at around $6.7 billion last year, recently sold for $9.6 billion earlier this year. In addition, several other NFL teams have been selling off chunks of non-voting stakes to private equity groups for billions as well.
The Giants reportedly have $769 million in annual revenue with an operating income of $181 million. They are going through some ownership changes, with co-owner John Mara undergoing cancer treatments and his partner Steve Tisch and family transferring their stake in the team into a trust for their children.
Mara and Tisch are still listed in their current positions as CEO and Chairman, but the organization appears to be ripe for a change at the top. Mara's younger brother, Chris, has been more visible recently and has stepped up as the face of the franchise in many facets.
