Will the New York Giants flip the script next season and produce a dramatic turnaround from the 4-13 record they finished with in 2025?
DAZN’s Ryan Baldi predicted that the Giants will have a bounce-back year in 2026, citing John Harbaugh’s string of 16 playoff appearances in the last 18 seasons as a reason the team should find more success with Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers.
The Giants’ 4-13 record obscured some encouraging work from Jaxson Dart, who threw 15 touchdown passes and rushed for more than 400 yards despite starting only 12 games.
His second season now comes under John Harbaugh, whose Baltimore teams recorded just two losing campaigns in 18 years.
A healthy return for Malik Nabers gives Dart the elite target he largely lacked last season,
while Harbaugh should bring basic organisational competence to a franchise that has recently treated it as an optional extra.
The NFC East is difficult, but seven or eight wins would represent substantial progress.
The Giants traded away star nose tackle Dexter Lawrence in the offseason but gained highly touted linebacker Arvell Reese in the draft and veteran linebacker Tremaine Edmunds in the open market this year. Abdul Carter is also expected to take the next step, which would give the Giants an imposing front four if he meets those expectations opposite All-Pro edge rusher Brian Burns, along with a capable secondary.
Offensively, Dart has Nabers, Darius Slayton, rookie Malachi Fields, and Odell Beckham Jr. to target at wide receiver. Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy both have the talent to make the Giants’ running game strong. Those pieces should help the team compete in the NFC East title race and the playoff hunt in 2026, unlike last season.
