The New York Giants took the field on Wednesday for their first of three practices ahead of a Week 5 game against the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Entering the week, the Giants continue to be banged up as injuries mount. Wide receiver Braxton Berrios has been lost for the season due to a foot/ankle injury, while safety Jason Pinnock (concussion) and defensive lineman Chauncey Golston (neck) also left last Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Following Wednesday's session, wide receiver Malik Nabers wouldn't commit to being able to play against the Commabers on Sunday.
"We'll see how the next day goes. But through the week I usually be sore, but this one's kind of a little
bit more sore. But I always continue to fight through it," he told reporters.
