What is the story about?

The New York Giants (2-1) were bailed out with a late interception, but they still came away with a 12-7 win over the Tennessee Titans (0-3) on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Even though there's an argument to make safety Jevon Holland the player of the game after his interception in the end zone to seal the win, the honor will go to the only source of scoring for the Giants in this ugly win.

Despite the elements, rookie kicker Dominic Zvada earns those honors after he went a perfect 4-for-4 on his field-goal attempts.

Zvada got the Giants on the board with a 39-yard field goal in the first quarter, capping an eight-play, 50-yard drive.

The rookie

then made two more field goals during the second quarter, ones from 27 and 39 again, to put the Giants up 9-0 going into halftime. Zvada capped off his day with a 30-yard field goal during the third quarter to give the Giants a 12-0 lead.

Zvada is now 6-for-6 to begin his career. The Giants offense has some issues to work out, but they should feel good about their young kicker thus far.
