ESPN had the Giants drop one spot to No. 24 overall in its preseason power rankings after rosters were set, highlighting Odell Beckham Jr., who just made the team, and his milestone chase as a feat to watch for New York in 2026.

Beckham needs five touchdown grabs to pass Kyle Rote (48) for the second most in Giants history. Amani Toomer is first with 54. Beckham is back for his second stint with the team since leaving in 2018, and coach John Harbaugh complimented his performance during training camp. Beckham is currently
fourth in franchise history with 44 touchdown receptions. Joe Morrison is third with 47.
Beckham adds to a wide receiver room that will welcome Malik Nabers back from injury and also features rookie Malachi Fields along with Darius Slayton. The receiving corps has the potential to produce solid numbers if everyone can stay healthy.
Fields also gives Jaxson Dart a deep-ball threat capable of making plays, keeping drives alive, and serving as an endzone target.
The Giants' defense remains strong even after losing Dexter Lawrence. The players who made the final 53-man roster give the team the potential to exceed expectations and make serious noise in the playoffs this season.
