The New York Giants are scheduled to host free agent cornerback Terrion Arnold for a visit on Wednesday, reports NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Arnold, the former Detroit Lions first-round pick, has drawn significant interest around the league. He previously visited the Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks and met with the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday, with additional teams expressing interest in bringing him in.
Selected 24th overall in the 2024 NFL draft out of Alabama, Arnold started 22 of 24 games over two seasons with the Lions. He recorded 91 tackles, 18 passes defensed, one interception and one fumble recovery before undergoing shoulder surgery late in the 2025 season.
Detroit released Arnold in late June after he was charged in connection
with a February 2026 robbery and kidnapping case in Florida. He remains a free agent while the legal process continues.
The Giants continue to face questions at the cornerback position that have been compounded by recent injuries. Paulson Adebo sat out of practice on Tuesday with an unknown ailment, a development that stands out given the timing of Arnold’s scheduled visit. Other corners, including Greg Newsome and Dru Phillips, have also dealt with issues during training camp.
Arnold’s combination of size, athleticism and experience as a former first-round selection makes him an intriguing option for teams seeking secondary depth, though any potential signing would come with off-field considerations.
