The joint practice between the Seahawks and Titans will occur on Friday, August 21 ahead of an August 23 preseason game between the two organizations. HBO's camera crews will be in attendance to compile some footage of joint practice. It will be Week 2 of the preseason.
The Seahawks won Super Bowl 60, and joint
practice with the Titans will offer them an opportunity to sharpen iron. Tennessee is rebuilding, but it's worth remembering they gave the Seahawks a difficult game in 2025. Seattle won 30-24, but Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward impressed national analysts with his performance against Mike Macdonald's defense.
There will be storylines worth following. New Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Fleury will be calling an offense against his 2025 coaching mate Robert Saleh, who is the Titans' new head coach. Fleury was the 49ers' tight ends coach last season while Saleh was their defensive coordinator.
Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV was also acquired via a 2024 midseason trade with the Titans. Hard Knocks is finally making its debut. The Seahawks have upcoming events that should make for compelling television, including joint practice with the Titans.
