For the first time since the 2022 season, the Seattle Seahawks will play the Los Angeles Chargers... and for the first time since 2018, this game will be held at Lumen Field. However, you will have to go all the way back to 2010 - which was Pete Carroll's first season in Seattle - to find a time when the Seahawks beat the Chargers at home. In fairness, they've only played three other times in that span, but it's still been a while.
Can the Seahawks find a way to get a shockingly elusive home win over this winless Chargers team? Our Seahawks Wire team weighs in with our official picks and predictions for NFL Week 4.

Seahawks 19, Chargers 13: The Seahawks are coming
home off a narrow loss to make mincemeat of a severely underwhelming, winless Chargers team... right? Well, not so fast. They say a desperate animal is more dangerous, and boy howdy are the Chargers depserate to not lose their season a quarter of the way in. Seattle just put starting running back Jadarian Price on injured reserve, which isn't a great sign for their already struggling ground attack that has yet to find the end zone this year. I have a feeling Seattle's offense will continue to struggle in short yardage red zone situations as they become one dimensional, leading them to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns. The Chargers' defense forced the Bills to turn the ball over five times last week, and could keep them in the game if they find a way to get Sam Darnold (who had two interceptions last week) to cough it up a some more on Sunday. However, this Chargers offense - specifically the line - is just outmatched, especially with Seattle's secondary getting back to full strength. Expect the Seahawks to defend home turf in a sluggish, defensive battle.

Seahawks 27, Chargers 13: The Seattle Seahawks' defense gets back on track by forcing Justin Herbert into a pair of turnovers as the offense rediscovers its groove.

Seahawks 24, Chargers 17: Seattle's interior offensive and defensive lines will dominate their counterparts in LA, which will make up for their banged up offensive backfield.

Seahawks 24, Chargers 23: The Chargers play with an edge after owning an 0-3 record to begin the season. But ultimately, the Seahawks' pass rush overwhelms Justin Herbert as the game draws on. Sam Darnold will find a way to get as many of his receivers involved in a major way to secure the much-needed victory.
Gavino Borquez - Chargers Wire Managing Editor
Seahawks 27, Chargers 20: Justin Herbert keeps the Chargers neck-and-neck with the Seahawks by attacking the short passing game. In the fourth quarter, Seattle's defensive front finally wears down the Chargers' offensive line, forcing a critical turnover that allows Sam Darnold to throw the decisive touchdown.
