The Seattle Seahawks continue to struggle to run the football effectively. They rank 17th in the league in rushing. The bigger issue has been ball security. Jadarian Price, George Holani, and Emanuel Wilson have combined to lose four fumbles in five games.
Help is on the way. Price, the team's rookie first-round pick, is eligible to come off IR in Week 8. Zach Charbonnet, who is working to return from last year's ACL injury, could make his 2026 debut in Week 7. Charbonnet and Price will likely become Seattle's one-two, replacing Wilson and Holani.
There's still some uncertainty. We haven't seen Charbonnet post-ACL tear, and Price struggled with fumbles in consecutive appearances before landing on IR. If John Schneider is even considering trading
for a RB, Tony Pollard from the Tennessee Titans would be a straightforward option.
The 0-5 Titans have the veteran Pollard on an expiring contract. Current Seahawks run game coordinator Justin Outten coached Pollard in Tennessee during the 2024 season. Having enjoyed four straight 1,000-yard seasons, he'd arguably have more pedigree than both Price and Charbonnet in Seattle's backfield.
The Titans should be interested in acquiring draft capital in exchange for Pollard. The Seahawks could be in the market for a reliable ball carrier. Pollard to Seattle would make sense.
