Is Seattle Seahawks running back George Holani a player that will service fantasy football team managers well in Week 2?
Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton views Holani as being one of the biggest sleepers at the running back position available in more than 50 percent of fantasy football leagues for the week at hand.
“Although we didn't see much of Holani on passing downs in Week 1, that could change with backup quarterback Drew Lock set to start for Sam Darnold, who's out with a glute injury,” Moton said. “…In addition to eight to 10 carries, Holani will likely see a fair number of targets in the short passing game as Lock establishes his rhythm.”
Holani recorded 29 rushing yards on eight carries in the Seahawks’ 13-10 win over the New England Patriots
in Week 1. Having gotten meaningful carries in Seattle’s offensive backfield despite rookie Jadarian Price owning the primary role, Holani figures to continue in the role that he has, which will have him in line to potentially get on the board with a touchdown in addition to solid production on the ground in the yards department, making him a player worth adding off the waiver this week.
