Is Seattle Seahawks star Ernest Jones a top 10 linebacker in the NFL?
In the eyes of many this offseason, Jones surely is.
CBS Sports continued the adulation for Jones by ranking him No. 10 overall in their off-ball linebacker rankings this summer.
”Jones' unusual career path includes him winning a Super Bowl with the Rams, being traded to the Titans despite seeming to be a franchise cornerstone, being traded again just a few months later to the Seahawks and then winning another Super Bowl,” CBS Sports’ analysts said. “He is a perfect fit for Mike Macdonald and has proved to be yet another great find for Seattle.”
Jones recorded a career-high five interceptions in 2025. He also recorded seven passes defensed and four tackles for loss last season.
Jones was named a second-team All-Pro honoree for his work on the year.
The Georgia native has a new season ahead of him in 2026 to validate his status as one of the game’s top-shelf linebackers.
