The Seattle Seahawks have made more roster moves this summer.
According to ESPN’s Brady Henderson, the Seahawks signed veteran outside linebacker Garrett Nelson and waived wide receiver Kyre Duplessis on Tuesday.
Nelson began his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2023. The 26-year-old has spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos, but has yet to appear in an NFL game in his career. He was last with the Broncos before signing with Seattle.
Duplessis signed his first NFL contract with the Detroit Lions on June 4, but was released shortly after on June 17. He then signed with the Seahawks on July 29. He spent five years at Coastal Carolina from 2020-24 before playing for the University
of Delaware in 2025 prior to entering the NFL. He recorded 824 receiving yards and five REC touchdowns last season at Delaware.
