The Seattle Seahawks are back to their winning ways following their 20-3 thrashing of the Kansas City Chiefs last week. Now their sights are set on the 5-2 Chicago Bears, who are headed to Lumen Field for a "Monday Night Football" showdown.
For the first time in over two weeks, we at Seahawks Wire get to annouce uniform news! Seattle was rocking the classic royal blue throwbacks for the last two games, which we've known about for several months. Now they are back to their weekly tradition of revealing what they will wear. On Monday, the Seahawks will rock the blue jersey/grey pants combo for the third time this season.

Seattle is 10-8 overall in this particular
combo dating back to Nike's takeover of the NFL in 2012. The Seahawks have worn these twice already, claiming a 31-7 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 and losing 32-29 to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5.
This does mark some franchise uniform history. The Seahawks have never worn this particular combo more than twice in any one season. The navy/grey combo has become a fan favorite, but it's not one I enjoy. I also am one who is superstitious with uniforms. Seattle suffered their first home loss in this combo back in 2021 against... the Chicago Bears in the snow. Here is hoping the Seahawks can reverse the fortunes of this look in Week 8.
