Will Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Jadarian Price have an outstanding year in 2026?
Fox Sports’ Henry McKenna predicted that Price will win the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award next season.
“Price, the final pick of the first round, will split touches with George Holani in Seattle's backfield to start the year because Zach Charbonnet will miss at least the first four games after tearing his ACL in January,” McKenna said. “And though Charbonnet (and Holani) will probably steal touchdowns, Price is likely to rack up major yardage totals.”
Price has a compelling case to be considered the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite entering the season. The Seahawks selected the Notre Dame product with the final pick in the first round of this
year’s draft, but draft position may undersell his opportunity and talent.
Price shined in his final year at Notre Dame while sharing a backfield with Jeremiyah Love. His graceful running style and ability to burst through holes figures to translate immediately in Seattle. With a strong offensive cast around him and a chance to earn significant touches, Price has a great chance to win the OROY award in 2026.
