The Seattle Seahawks' offense erupted for an 82-yard touchdown on their second play from scrimmage against the Arizona Cardinals today as quarterback Drew Lock's first pass of the day hit wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in stride down the sideline.

Cardinals second-year cornerback Will Johnson and veteran safety Budda Baker were both playing zone coverage and miscommunicated on who was supposed to carry JSN deep, who quickly stemmed his out route into an out-and-go. Johnson was caught flat-footed at the line of scrimmage, and by the time Baker could turn his hips, JSN was five yards downfield. The mishap resembled JSN's 61-yard score against the Jacksonville Jaguars last October. This
was also JSN's longest score of his professional career, beating out the previous record set last November against the Tennessee Titans.
