Where will the Seattle Seahawks finish in the NFC West standings in 2026?
A last place finish seems to be the only near impossibility that will take shape for the defending NFC West champion Seahawks next season. However, playing in arguably the toughest division in the entire NFL, which also includes the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will be challenging as ever to win, especially when having to deal with both of those teams a total of four times next season.
Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton forecasted the Seahawks to go 11-6 next season, good for second place in the NFC West division.
“The reigning Super Bowl champions should make it back to the playoffs with resurgent starter Sam Darnold at the helm,” Moton said. “However, Darnold lost
offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, and the team's 10th-ranked rushing attack from the previous season lost lead running back Kenneth Walker and may be without running back Zach Charbonnet (torn ACL) for multiple weeks. The Seahawks defense is equipped to win games, and it may need to do so early with question marks on offense.”
The Seahawks have it all. Despite the Rams (13-4) being forecasted to win the division, experience as Super Bowl champions, elite veterans on defense, a high-powered offense and great coaching from defensive signal caller Mike Macdonald give Seattle a great chance to win the division, even with the juggernaut Rams looking like the toughest matchup on the schedule for every team that will face them next season.
