The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-3 in Week 7, delivering a commanding performance on both sides of the ball. Seattle controlled the contest with an exceptional defensive exhibition as well as an effective offensive showing, and improved to 4-3 on the year with the win.
The Seahawks received strong contributions from quarterback Sam Darnold, who completed 20 of 28 passes for 257 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Jaxon Smith-Njigba recorded nine receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown, providing Seattle with a major downfield threat. Emanuel Wilson added 100 rushing yards on 24 carries and scored a touchdown to help secure the victory.
Seattle's defense held the Chiefs out of the end zone, limiting their scoring to
a single field goal. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 19 of 33 passes for 165 yards and threw an interception. Kenneth Walker III recorded 36 rushing yards on 14 carries and added 21 receiving yards. Tight ends Travis Kelce and Noah Gray contributed four and three receptions, respectively, for 44 yards apiece. Harrison Butker accounted for Kansas City's only points with a 50-yard field goal in the third quarter.
The game was filled with many exciting moments and intense play fueled by Walker’s first taste of action against his former team, as well as the stakes of the Chiefs remaining undefeated or the Seahawks falling on the right side of .500 with a win.
Let’s take a look at the best reactions that surfaced regarding the game on social media.

Can we ask Mahomes to tell Andy & crew its time to change the WR process & scheme? Speed is great need at least 1 pure route runner on the field at all times.

Chiefs are getting beat like a drum so far. Only 3-0. But Seattle has just been flawless in executing these key spots.

Very impressive win by the Seahawks. I didn't think they'd win, let alone blow out the Chiefs. Their defense is different.
