The Seattle Seahawks held their second practice of training camp on Sunday. Rookie running back Jadarian Price is among the focal points. The Seahawks already have Price working overtime, according to various reports.
Price is receiving a major workload as a pass-catching back, per the News Tribune's Gregg Bell. Following Sunday's practice, Bell noted that Price has been on the 1st-, 2nd and 3rd-team offenses during 11-on-11 drills. The Seahawks are loading his plate early and learning what he can handle.

Price possesses a major opportunity to replace Super Bowl 60 MVP Kenneth Walker. General manager John Schneider drafted Price hoping that possibility will eventually come to fruition. How quickly that vision becomes reality depends on Price's early effectiveness.
Walker ranked fourth on the Seahawks in receptions last season. There's a clear need to replace his production in the passing game. Offensive coordinator Brian Fleury is giving Price an early opportunity at camp to show off his pass-catching prowess.
Price totaled just 15 receptions in three seasons at Notre Dame. A lack of pass-catching experience was among the few negatives in his profile throughout the pre-draft process. The Seahawks believe Price is capable of expanding his skills as a receiver, and training camp is already providing him with plenty of opportunities to do so.
