Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Jadarian Price will face his former Notre Dame teammate Jeremiyah Love in Week 2 when Seattle takes on the Arizona Cardinals.
The matchup reunites the two running backs who shared a productive backfield at Notre Dame in 2025. Love was Notre Dame’s primary ball carrier, finishing the season with 1,372 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on 199 attempts. He also contributed 27 receptions for 280 yards and three scores. Price complemented Love with 674 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on 113 carries. He added six catches for 87 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
Both rookies opened their NFL careers with productive Week 1 performances. Price recorded 10 carries for 52 yards in Seattle’s 13-10 win over the New England
Patriots and also added two receptions for six yards.
Love rushed 11 times for 41 yards and a touchdown in Arizona’s 26-14 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. He also made two catches for nine yards.
Sunday’s matchup gives Price and Love an early opportunity to compete against one another for the first time as NFL pros.
