Seattle Seahawks Jaxon Smith-Njigba enters the 2026 NFL season as being one of the pre-eminent wide receivers in the league, and as a result, an elite fantasy football option. Ja’Marr Chase, Puka Nacua and Justin Jefferson give Smith-Njigba competition as other elite receivers in the league, but heading into the new season, JSN has the resume to be considered the top dog at the position.
Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley ranked Smith-Njigba No. 4 overall among the top wide receivers in the league for the new fantasy football season.
The Seahawks star was ranked behind Chase (No. 1), Nacua (No. 2), and Amon-Ra St. Brown (No. 3).
Smith-Njigba was named the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year last season, earned first-team All-Pro honors and helped the Seahawks
capture the Super Bowl at the end of the season. He finished the 2025 regular season with 119 receptions for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns. His production made him one of the league’s most consistent and productive offensive threats.
Similar production may follow in 2026 despite Rashid Shaheed being in line for a larger role in the Seahawks offense, making JSN a player worth drafting high in the first round, above all of his peers, for team managers who fancy his production.
