The Seattle Seahawks suffered a potential blow to their wide receiver depth on Friday. The Seahawks are currently in Nashville holding joint practices against the Tennessee Titans, and the injury bug has seemingly bitten them. ESPN's Brady Henderson is reporting that Seattle wide receiver Jake Bobo had to be carted off the practice field.
Bobo was trying to chase down a target near the sideline when he went down. While he was down, he was getting his right leg looked at.
While absolutely no one wants to hear a player got carted off the field, obviously, at this time we do not know the severity of Bobo's injury. Perhaps this could be the team being overly cautious, and that is what the 12th Man is hoping for. But we are all aware it's never a good
thing when the cart has to come out.
Bobo has been a fan favorite ever since he made the roster as an undrafted free agent after the 2023 NFL draft. In his career, he has hauled in 34 receptions for 323 yards and three touchdowns. Although he did not have the biggest statistical impact in 2025, he did have a crucial touchdown reception in the 31027 win over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game. Seattle does not advance to the Super Bowl without Jake Bobo.
We at Seahawks Wire will continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
