The Seattle Seahawks are preparing for their Week 3 showdown against the Washington Commanders this weekend. Seattle has completed their first practice of the week, and therefore released their first injury report. It is early, but it is a rather lengthy one.
Making a limited appearance is quarterback Sam Darnold, who head coach Mike Macdonald said would take the field. The Seahawks are planning to work him this week and make an assessment by Friday if he is able to play in Week 3.
Not participating for a seventh-straight practice is safety Ty Okada, who has missed the first two games. When the Seahawks signed Rodney Thomas to the active 53-man roster, I figured this was a sign Okada would be headed to IR. Instead it was right guard Anthony Bradford.
If Seattle is keeping Okada active, that means they must feel is truly on the verge of returning.
However, the good news is second year safety Nick Emmanwori was a full participant!
